Jumbo Games Ltd (hereafter: “Jumbo”), established at Sovereign House, Stockport Road, Cheadle, SK8 2EA, UK, is responsible for processing personal data as prescribed in this Privacy Statement. Jumbo Games Ltd forms part of the European toy company the Jumbo Group and develops, produces and sells toys, games and puzzles.

Jumbo processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide such data to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:

Data related to people under 16 years of age:
Our website and/or service does not have the intention of collecting data about website visitors under 16 years of age. That is, unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is over 16 years old. We therefore recommend that parents monitor their children’s online activities in order to prevent data from being collected about children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us using the Service Form on the Jumbo website and we will delete this information.
3. For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?
Jumbo processes your personal data for the following purposes:

4. How long do we keep personal data for?
Jumbo keeps your personal data for no longer than is strictly necessary to satisfy the purposes for which your data was collected. We apply the following retention periods to the following (categories of) personal data:
Newsletters:
The information below will be kept (if specified) from the moment of subscription to the newsletter until you unsubscribe from the newsletter using the unsubscribe option included in the newsletter:

Customer service:
In the first instance, the data below is saved in order to respond to customer service requests and then to establish whether previous customer service requests were submitted by the same person up to two years after concluding the response:

5. Sharing of personal data with third parties
- Jumbo shares your personal data with various third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement and in order to comply with any legal obligations. We enter into a Processor Agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality with respect to your data with companies that process your data on our behalf (such as couriers, our distribution centre and data hosting partners). These parties may only use the personal data to perform the specific tasks for which they were hired. Jumbo remains responsible for said processing operations.
- Jumbo shares your personal data with other third parties who are hired by Jumbo to set up and process promotional campaigns and competitions such as PR and/or Media Agencies. These parties may only use the personal data to perform the specific tasks for which they were hired.
- Jumbo only shares your personal data with other third parties if you have given specific permission for this purpose.
Jumbo makes use of functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is saved in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit the Jumbo website.
Functional cookies:
Jumbo uses cookies that serve a purely technical function. These cookies ensure that the website functions properly and that your preferred settings are remembered, for example. They are also used to make the website work properly and to be able to optimise its functionality. It is not possible to opt out of functional cookies.
Analytical cookies:
We use Google Analytics to collect web statistics about the use of and visits to the Jumbo website. Google Analytics places a permanent cookie on your device. This cookie registers your use of the Jumbo website and this data is then analysed by Google and the results are provided to Jumbo. In this manner, Jumbo gains insight into the way in which the website is used and can make adjustments to the website and/or service on the basis of this information if necessary. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law and/or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Google cannot use the information for other Google services. It is not possible to opt out of analytical cookies.
Tracking cookies:
In addition, we place cookies that track your browsing behaviour outside of the Jumbo website so that we can offer you tailor-made content and advertisements. When you first visited the Jumbo website, we informed you about these cookies and asked you for your permission to place them. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer saves cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information previously saved in the settings of your browser.
Technical properties:
In addition to placing cookies, Jumbo also reads information from your browser and/or device without a cookie being placed. In this manner, Jumbo collects (technical) properties from your device and the software you use, such as the type of operating system, the browser settings, installed plug-ins, time zone and screen size. Jumbo uses this information to track your browsing behaviour and to be able to tailor its services optimally on this basis.
Third-party hyperlinks:
The Jumbo website may contain hyperlinks through which you can leave the Jumbo website and enter the website of another party (such as a retailer). Jumbo has no control over the services and websites of third parties to which links are provided. It is therefore possible that such third-party services and websites are subject to a different Privacy Statement. Jumbo is not responsible or liable for the (operation and/or content of) services and/or websites of third parties.
Social plugins:
The Jumbo website contains various social plugins for parties such as Facebook, Instagram, Google+, YouTube and LinkedIn. This enables you to share information from the Jumbo website with others or recommend such. When you visit a webpage that displays the social plugins of these social media, third parties place cookies on your device. Amongst other things, these cookies collect information about your browser and the websites you visit with your IP address.
- The Jumbo website displays videos from third-party websites, including YouTube. These third parties place cookies which make it possible to show the videos to you. In addition, cookies may be placed that are used to track your browsing behaviour across multiple websites and to build a profile of your browsing behaviour.
- With the help of Facebook’s Website Custom Audiences, Jumbo can use data from its website to display relevant advertisements on Facebook. Through a pixel integrated into the Jumbo website, general information about your browser session, including any Facebook cookie and the web pages you visit, is sent to Facebook. Based on this data, Facebook users can be included in a particular Custom Audience and they can be presented with tailor-made advertisements.
- The use of cookies placed through the videos and/or social plugins on the Jumbo website is subject to further third-party terms and conditions. Jumbo is not responsible and/or liable for said third-party terms and conditions. Please refer to the terms and conditions of the parties concerned for further information:
- You have the right to view, modify or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent for the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Jumbo and you have the right to data transferability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send you – or another organisation as requested – any personal data we have saved about you in a computer file. You may submit a request to us to view, modify, delete or transfer your personal data or request the withdrawal of your consent or object to the processing of your personal data using the Service Form on the Jumbo website.
- In order to be certain that such a request has been made by you, we ask you send us a copy of your identity document along with your request. In order to protect your privacy, black out the photo of your face, the MRZ (machine readable zone or strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), the passport number and your social security number (BSN) on the copy you send. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, at the latest within four weeks.

Jumbo takes the protection of your data seriously and adopts appropriate measures to prevent the misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and/or unauthorised modification thereof. If you feel that your data is not secure or that there are indications of misuse, please contact our customer service department using the Service Form on the Jumbo website.
