Working towards a sustainable future

We all want to keep playing and puzzling. So, step by step, we’re changing our products and the way we make them so that we ask less of the planet.
Making play more sustainable.

Playing smarter!

Our plan is built around the following goals, the 5P’s:

Our impact

Power of Play

Education is key to sustainable development. Learning through play is at the heart of what we do.
Sustainability is just another topic children should learn about and take on board. We offer a portfolio with environment-themed products as diverse as recycling, animals, the weather and many others.

Goodbye to shrink-wrap

Where possible we replace the shrink-wrap with a simple, small sticker to seal our game boxes. That means less unnecessary plastic heading for landfill.

More sustainable puzzles

We’re changing the way our puzzles are made. No more plastic shrink-wrap or bags, but new ways to secure the lid and what’s inside.
  • A paper bag to hold the puzzle pieces instead of a plastic bag
  • A small sticker to keep the box closed in place of shrink-wrap
  • 100% recycled carboard
  • FSC® certified paper
  • Made in Europe

Forest Stewardship Council

We have FSC® certification in place for several of our products to prove that we work with well managed forests.

Certification

We continuously collaborate with our partners to create a safe and ethical working environment by monitoring this via independent third-party certifications and our Code of Conduct.

Box clever

Wherever we can, we make the box part of the fun – not something you discard to one side and ignore.

Going local

The vast majority of our puzzles and educational games are produced locally, around Europe.
