María, Chief People Officer at Jumbo Group since January 2023, leads the company’s Human Resources, Internal Communications, and Corporate Social Responsibility efforts. With a focus on cultivating a people-first culture, she’s dedicated to aligning talent strategies with Jumbo Group’s values and vision.

Starting her career in HR at Quadis in 2005, María developed expertise in total compensation and HR analytics. She further honed her skills at Groupe SEB as Training and Recruitment Manager and then at Amplifon, where she held multiple roles, including HR Business Partner, Talent Manager, and HR Manager. During her tenure at Amplifon, she played a key role in the acquisition of GAES, the leading company in the industry.

María holds a Psychology degree from Universidad Pontificia of Salamanca and a Master’s in Human Resources from ICADE, Madrid.

She also shares her expertise as a Professor at both Barcelona Executive Business School and IL3 - Universidad de Barcelona.
