How do I reload the eggs back inside to play again?
Press the button under one of Chick-a-Boo’s wings for 3 seconds. It will start laughing, but don’t stop pressing the button, and the door will open. Place the eggs inside, and the door will close automatically. Do not force open the door compartment.
What kind of batteries do I need? Are the batteries included?
You need 3 x AA Batteries, which are not included.
What happens if Chick-a-Boo does not move and it is on?
If Chick-a-Boo doesn’t move, it may be in sleep mode: simply press on one of the buttons to wake it up.
What happens if Chick-a-Boo moves slowly or the volume is low?
The battery may be low. Low batteries may not allow full function. Insert 3 new batteries.
How do I play a song? And another song? How do I repeat a song?
Press the head/crest button, and Chick-a-Boo will sing. If you want Chick-a-Boo to play another song, press the button again. If you want it to repeat the song, hold the head button for more than 3 seconds.
How do I tickle Chick-a-Boo?
Press under one of the wings, in Chick-a-Boo’s body, to activate the laughing. Make sure to press precisely on the contact, it might be a bit difficult to find.
If Chick-a-Boo does not respond to the strawberry, what can I do?
Hold the strawberry near the mouth of Chick-a-Boo. Make sure you are presenting the tip of the strawberry to Chick-a-Boo’s beak.
How many eggs does Chick-a-Boo have inside?
Two eggs with one chick inside each egg.
Where can I store the strawberry?
In the heart-shaped slot on the back of Chick-a-Boo, above the door.
What can I do if I lose the strawberry accessory?
Chick-a-Boo can also lay eggs by pressing the two button wings at the same time. After some laughs, the laying egg sequence will start.
